Mary M. Miller

Mary Miller, 93, died Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Tieszen Memorial Home, Marion. Funeral mass will be at 10:30am Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marion with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1-3:00pm at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Chapel, Marion and from 3-4:00pm at the Tieszen Memorial Home Chapel. A Scripture service will be said at 7:00pm Tuesday evening at the church. Mary M. Konda was born on July 9, 1917 at Marion, SD to Stephen and Mary (Hain) Konda. She was united in marriage in 1940 to Willard Miller. They moved to Monroe in 1954. Her husband died in 1991. Grateful for having shared her life are 4 children, Russell, Monroe, Maryann (Melvin) DeBoer, Marion, Raymond “Swede” (Linda), Sioux Falls, James (Sandy), Monroe; a sister, Margaret Konda, Marion; special friend DeLaine Neubauer; 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband, 6 brothers and a sister.
