Edward Scott Gill

Edward S. Gill, 48, of Parker, SD, passed away August 11, 2011 at Parker. He was born August 3, 1963 at Falls City, NE to the late Frank and Delores (Schulenberg) Gill. He married Angel Bingham on July 18, 1986 and they were later divorced. Edward enlisted in the U. S. Navy on October 30, 1984 and was honorably discharged on November 18, 1993. Edward was raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1981. He worked various jobs until enlisting in the U.S. Navy; following his discharge he worked for Blue Bunny Dairy at LeMars, IA , then for Malloy Electric at Sioux City, IA and then worked out of the home office in Sioux Falls, SD. He was confirmed at St. Paul?s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 20th and Towle, Falls City. Edward is survived by is son, Justin of Seattle, WA, Jennifer Gill and her fiancé Matt Kirby of Lakewood, CO, Maggie Clayton and her husband Jaron of Renton, WA, parents, Delores and Frank Gill of Falls City, brothers, Steven of Beatrice, NE, Ronald and his wife Suzanne of DeWitt, NE, Mark of Falls City, Chris and his wife Heather of Falls City, sister, Tammy Isaacs and her husband Tom of Falls City. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Pastor John Sipf officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.
