Phyllis J. Tysdal

Phyllis Tysdal, 69, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at Covington Heights Care Center, Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Monday, November 28, 2011 at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation will be from 2-4:00pm Sunday afternoon at the funeral home. Phyllis J. Tysdal was born on December 31, 1941 at Parker, SD to Selmar and Florence (Thompson) Tysdal. She grew up at Parker and graduated from Parker High School in 1960. After attending Stewarts Beauty School she operated the Hilltop Beauty Salon for many years. She also had been employed at Linton Industries and McKennan Hospital. For the past several years she has been a resident of Covington Heights. Survivors include her brother Ron and wife Jean, Sioux Falls; and nephew and nieces, Ryan, Rochelle, and Renee and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents.
