Andrea Deelstra

Andrea Deelstra, 61, passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 28, 2011 surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 31, 2011 at Hope Lutheran Church, Sioux Falls. Visitation will be Friday with family present from 5-7:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home. Andrea Deelstra was born on August 15, 1950 at Mankato, MN to Ernest and Louise (Harries) Lynn. They lived in various places before moving to Sioux Falls in 1961 where she attended Lincoln High School. On December 6, 1968 she was united in marriage to Al Deelstra at Sioux Falls. She was employed at Sears for 11 years and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church. She was a very special wife and mother. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Al; 2 sons, Troy (Cami), and Joel, all of Sioux Falls; 3 grandchildren, Mirana, Shane, and Jacob; her mother-in-law, Clara Wollman, Parker; an aunt Irene, a niece, 2 nephews, and 2 cousins; special friends Myra, Ayrrianna, Lillyanna Ventura, and Louis Loyloa. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother tom, and a sister Annett. In lieu of flowers memorials to Children’s Home Society or Humane Society.
