Leroy Mauseth

LeRoy Mauseth, 73, died Friday, January 25, 2008 at Long View Nursing Home, Missouri Valley. Funeral services will be at 11:00am Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation will be Monday evening. He was born on June 12, 1934 at Sioux Falls to Arnt and Pearl Mauseth. He served in the US Navy from 1954-1957. On February 25, 1958 he married Joyce Rohloff, to this union 7 children were born. Through the years he worked as a welder, car salesman, insurance salesman, and truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Joyce of 49 years; his children, Allan (Marva), Mondamin, IA, Steven (Angela), Council Bluffs, IA, JoAnn, Lincoln, NE, Roberta (Don) Beckwith, Council Bluffs, IA, and Lisa (fiance’ Dennis), Council Bluffs, IA; 15 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and a sister Fern Olesen, Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sons Leonard and LeRoy, and 8 brothers and sisters.
