Harold Eugene Berens

Harold Eugene Berens was born on June 17, 1932 at Chancellor, SD to Ed and Helen (Fokken) Berens. He served in the US Army from 1952-1954. Over the years he farmed, was a custom cornsheller, and mowed and maintained roads for local townships. He was united in marriage to Esther Morrison in December of 1959. He enjoyed raising miniature donkeys. His wife died in 1993. Grateful for having shared his life are 5 brothers, Robert (Margaret), Michigan, Edwin (Marlene), Parker, Ralph (Merianna), Parker, Larry (Loretta), Colton, and Lyle (Margo), Parker; a special friend, Arlene Thietje, Monroe; step children, Craig (Dewon) Morrison and family, Illinois, and Dianne Morrison and family, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a sister Shirley, 2 brothers Merle and Dean, and a step son, David.
