Mary E. Fansin

Mary Fansin, Parker died Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Sanford USD Medical Center. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Friday, May 30, 2014 at the United Methodist Church, Parker with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Thursday at Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home, Parker with family present from 6-8pm. Mary Elizabeth Dever was born on March 1, 1924 at Parker, SD to Edward and Caroline (Wallace) Dever. She grew up at Parker where she worked in the cafe until she was united in marriage to Robert F. Fansin on May 25, 1946 at Parker. To this union two children were born, Linda and Robert J. Fansin. They lived in Parker where she worked at Case Pharmacy and then White Pharmacy for over 30 years. Her husband died in 2003. Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Linda and Robert, both of Parker and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and 10 brothers and sisters, Fern, Lowlola, Leona, Lucille, Betty, Bruce, John, Elmer, William "Billie", and Lester "Pep".
