Patricia Ann Jorgensen

Patricia Ann Jorgensen (Welch) 73, of Hurley, South Dakota, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014. Pat was born December 30, 1940 at a farm north of Hurley, South Dakota, to Keith and Eloise (Goodhope) Welch. She attended school in California where she graduated from Lakewood High School. On December 30, 1982 she was united in marriage to Glen Jorgensen of Hurley. She worked for more than 20 years at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Viborg, SD and was a long time member of Harmony Presbyterian Church. Following her retirement, Pat enjoyed spending time with family, catching up with old friends on Facebook, and sitting down with a good book. Pat is survived by her children, Tina Danielsen of Hurley, Tony (Cindy)Ciampa of Hurley, Tim (Jen)Koehler of Sioux Falls, and Travis “TJ” Jorgensen of Rapid City; 5 grandchildren, Nathan Ciampa, Kevin Danielsen, Kaylee Ciampa, Charles Patrick Koehler, and Ethan Koehler; 1 great grandchild, Gabriel, a sister, Pam (Tom) Weld of North Las Vegas, an uncle, several aunts, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved son, Todd; her husband, Glen; and an infant sister. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7pm Sunday with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm Sunday evening at Harmony Presbyterian Church, Hurley. Burial will be at the Hurley Cemetery, Hurley.
