Wilbur “Billy” Myreholt, 86, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at the Centerville Good Samaritan Center. Burial will be in the Hurley Cemetery. Arrangements by the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Chapel, Hurley. Wilbur “Billy” Myreholt was born on July 16, 1922 at Irene, SD to Wilbur and Mary (Hannum) Myreholt. He moved with his family to Sioux City, IA where he worked for the Palmer Candy Company and Sioux Bee Honey. The family owned and operated the Pavilion on Swan Lake where he helped out for many years. In 1962 he moved to Hurley where he lived before becoming a resident of the Centerville Good Samaritan Center in 2002. Grateful for having shared his life are his sister Marilyn Jorgensen and husband Waldo, Hurley. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Keith.
