Steven Daniel Hagen, 22, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2009 due to a battle with cancer at Dougherty Hospice House. Steven Daniel Hagen was born July 4, 1986 to Kevin and Shelly (Loger) Hagen of Sioux Falls, SD. Steve was dedicated to the love of the Lord. He was baptized at First Reformed Church in 1986. Steve enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, sports and video games. He had a smile that everyone remembered. His cheerful and respectful demeanor was treasured among his friends, coaches, and family, he was awarded Mr. Cheerful in high school. He graduated from RHS in 2004 and was an employee at the Sportsman’s Warehouse. He loved young children and wanted to be a teacher, coach and friend to them. Steve was united in marriage with Mandy Bramley on August 16, 2008. Survivors include his wife, Mandy; parents, Kevin and Shelly; brothers, AJ and Cole; grandparents, Jerry and Wanda Hagen and Betty Kenyon; Aunts, Connie (Neil) Kenyon, Tammy (Greg) Stensaas, Robin (Nate) Kislaw, Kelly (Jeff) Beebe, Dawn (Rick) Kidder; uncles, Dale (Kerry) Loger, John (Vonnie) Loger and Ryan (Becky) Kenyon; cousins, Richard, Tony, Samantha; mother and father-in-law, Sue Bramley and Bill Bramley; sister-in-law, Andrea; brother-in-law, Austin; and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Virgil and Emily Hagen, Mary Hokenstad; and Bessie and Daniel Otten. Visitation will begin 12:00pm Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 6-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Wednesday March 24, 2009 at Chancellor Reformed Church, Chancellor, SD.
