Ardelle L. Lund

Ardelle L. Lund, 77, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, March 27, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home with burial at Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation with family present will be from noon-1:00pm Friday to greet friends and relatives. Ardelle Louise Boekhoff was born on May 18, 1931 near Parker, SD to George and Pearl (Auringer) Boekhoff. She graduated from Parker High School in 1949. On July 21, 1950 she was united in marriage to Robert A. Lund at Sioux Falls. They lived at Sioux Falls for many years, in 1979 moved to Arizona, and then moved back to Sioux Falls. She had been employed at Sioux Valley and McKennan Hospital. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Tea. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Robert; 3 children, Bruce (Sharon) Lund, Scottsdale, AZ, Jolaine (Wally) Kempema, Sioux Falls, and Barry (Kristal) Lund, Chattanooga, TN; 10 grandchildren , Nadine (Ben) Murphy, Matthew Dykstra, Nathan (Danielle) Dykstra, Brian Lund, Brittany Lund, Brice Lund, John Boyce, Shelli (Tom) Peterson, Scott (Amanda) Kempema, and Staci (Del) Egdorf, and 8 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Samantha, Ryan, John, Jacob, Solomon, Gordon, and Katelyn; 2 brothers and a sister, Robert (Kathy) Boekhoff, Sheridan, OR, Eleanor (John) Erickson, Sioux Falls, and Anthony (Sharon) Boekhoff, Maplewood, MN; and a brother in law, James Newberg, Harrisburg. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Janet.
