Robert "Guss" Gusso

Robert “Guss” Gusso, 35, died Monday, May 18, 2009 at Humboldt from a work related accident. Funeral services will be 10:30am Friday, May 22, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, Parker with burial with military honors at Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation will begin at 4:00pm Thursday at Grace Lutheran Church, Parker with a Prayer Service at 7:30pm with family present beginning at 6:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, May 23, 2009 at the Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer in Watertown. Arrangements by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker. Robert Charles Gusso was born on December 2, 1973 at Watertown, SD to Rodney and Carol (Lindner) Gusso. After graduating from Watertown High School in 1992 he served in the US Army from 1992-1995 during Desert Storm. On June 27, 1998 he was united in marriage to Rachel Schneekloth at Watertown, SD. They moved to Parker in 2000 where he was employed at Parker Ford and with Ludens Implement since 2004. He was a very active member of the Parker Volunteer Fire Department, enjoyed NASCAR and Dale Jr., liked to tinker with classic cars, and had a deep love for his family. Grateful for being a part of his life are his wife Rachel and daughters Courtney and Logan; his parents Rodney and Carol Gusso, Watertown; a brother Greg Gusso and wife Bonnie, Yankton; a sister Susan Peterson and husband Cody, Watertown; his mother and father in law, Howard and Cindy Schneekloth, Watertown; and four legged companion, Bel Air.
