Roberta "Bobbi" Langerock

Roberta Langerock, 73, died Sunday, August 16, 2009 at home. Funeral services will be at 1:30pm Thursday, August 20, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church, Parker with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation will begin at noon Wednesday at Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker with family present from 6-8:00pm and a Prayer Service said at 7:30pm Wednesday evening. Roberta Lee Clikeman was born on June 23, 1936 at Sioux Falls, SD to Clarence and Anne (Jensen) Clikeman. She attended grade school in Hurley and moved with her family to Parker in the eighth grade, graduating from Parker High School in 1954. After attending Huron College for two years and receiving a teaching certificate she was united in marriage to Donald Langerock on August 19, 1956 at the First Presbyterian Church in Parker. They lived in Sioux Falls for 30 years where she taught for many years as a substitute teacher and later at Hawthorne Elementary School in the title program. She also gave piano lessons for many years. In 1998 they moved to the farm near Parker. She was an active member and a deacon at First Presbyterian Church in Sioux Falls and Parker. Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Donald; a daughter Cheri Kraemer and her husband Larry, Parker; 2 grandchildren, Lucas and Kiera; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Montis, Sioux Falls: and a host of relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son Kendall in 1999.
