Duane Haase

Duane Haase, 68, died Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at his home. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Saturday, September 12, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church, Parker with burial in Rosehill Cemetery, Parker. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7:00pm Friday at the church with a Prayer Service at 6:30pm. Arrangements by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker. Duane Richard Haase was born on March 27, 1941 near Parker, SD to Sylvester and Bernice (Tysdal) Haase. After graduating from Parker High School in 1959 he was united in marriage to Miriam Larsen on August 4, 1961 at Parker. He was engaged in farming his entire life in the Parker area. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church and served as president of the council when the church was built. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Miriam; 3 sons, David, Bruce and his wife Rachelle, and Dustin and his wife Jessica, all of Parker; a daughter, Teresa Noethlich and her husband Dan, Doland, SD; 7 grandchildren, Stephanie (Andy) Armstead, John Michael Roth, Jaime and Lance Haase, and Natalie, Paige, and Neil Haase; 3 step-grandsons, Donald, Bill, and Jonathan Noethlich; and 2 sisters, Joyce (Bill) Schmidt, Sioux Falls, and Jennenne (Ed) Fincher, Parker, CO and SD. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Raymond, a granddaughter Jennifer, and brothers Roy and Donald.
