Marcus Jeffry Bauer, 4 years, 10 months, and 29 days earned his angel wings from a tragic accident on May 29, 2017. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Viborg Community Center, Viborg. Visitation with family present will be from 6-8pm Thursday evening at the Viborg Community Center. Arrangements by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home. Marcus Jeffry Bauer was born on June 16, 2012 at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls to Fawn and Justin Bauer. He lived with his family in Hurley and had just graduated from the Viborg-Hurley Pre-School. He attended Our Saviors Sunday School, loved bicycling, climbing, swimming and fishing, camping and burning marshmallows, animals, playing with sticks, T-Ball, and was a storyteller. Marcus Bauer was an amazing 4 yr old with an infectious smile, he lit up the lives of everyone who met him, and he was a kind soul with a big heart. Although we will miss him everyday, he will forever remain in our hearts. Grateful for having shared his life are his parents Fawn and Justin; brother Jesse and sisters Ally and Lilah; grandparents Jeff and Candy Verdoorn, Laurie Medina, Mark Bauer, and Deb and Marty Miles; great grandparents Patricia and David White, Renee Medina, and Virginia Bachelor; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
