Bernard Stevens

Bernard Stevens, 83, of Sioux Falls and a native of Parker, died Monday, March 1, 2010 at Southridge Health Care Center, Sioux Falls. Private family burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery, Parker with visitation an hour before services. Pastor Aaron Kilborn, First Baptist Church, Parker will officiate. Bernard B. Stevens was born on August 31, 1925 at Parker, SD to John and Katherine (Benninga) Stevens. After growing up in Parker he served in the US Army during the Korean War. He lived in Sioux Falls where he worked as a self employed house painter. He is survived by a sister, sister in law, and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 brothers.
