Robert “Bob” Janzen, 64, died Thursday, April 8, 2010 near Parker in a farm accident. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Monday, April 12, 2010 at the United Methodist Church, Parker with burial with military rites in the Greenwood Cemetery, Marion. Visitation will be on Sunday at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home, Parker with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm Sunday evening. Robert Lee Janzen was born on September 27, 1945 near Marion to George and Susie (Walters) Janzen. After graduating from Marion High School in 1963 he served in the US Army. On June 8, 1966 he was united in marriage to Diana Mohr at Marion. They moved to Parker where he was a milkman for Terrace Park Dairy. He also had been employed by the city of Parker water department, a truck driver, farm worker, and at Menards. He had been a member of the Parker Fire Department and served in the Army National Guard. Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Diana; 3 children, Darla (Don) Jorgensen, Sioux Falls, Brian, Box Elder, and Brad, Baltic; 4 grandchildren, Aftyn, Denton, Bailey, and Tori; and 4 brothers, Jim (Dot), Eagar, AZ, Paul (Zane), Riverton, WY, LeRoy, Onalaska, TX, and Al (Lori), Watertown. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Jean.
