Dale Muller

Dale Muller, age 73 of Parker, passed away on September 16, 2024 at the Tieszen Memorial Home in Marion. Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home. Arrangements provided by Hofmeister-Jones Funeral Home.

Dale was born to Harm and June Muller on January 14, 1951. There were three siblings to welcome him-Shirley, Wilfred, and Deanna. Dale grew up on a farm by Parker and graduated from Parker High School where he played basketball and coached baseball. He served in the Army-National Guard for a short time.

Dale was a hard worker and liked to stay busy. He worked at John Morrell’s for a while and then did many handyman projects around Parker until his health didn’t allow him to continue with those activities.

Dale loved fishing and could be seen riding his bicycle to go fishing-one of his favorite hobbies. He was an early riser and got up early to start the coffee at the gas station. He would go back to the gas station several times a day for treats and visit friends. When it was his birthday, he would bake special treats to share with his friends at the station.

Dale also loved to call his family early in the morning. If one of his siblings was in the hospital he made sure to find a way to go visit them. Dale had a giving heart and made sure he had gifts for each one at Christmas.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents Harm and June, brother Wilfred, brother-in-law Wes Hebrink, and great-nephew Cody Nelson.

Dale is survived by his sister Shirley (Lawrence) Groen, sister-in-law Barb Muller, sister Deanna (Jerry) Nelson and numerous nieces and nephews.
