David Buller

David Buller, 77 of Parker died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls.  Memorial services will be at 11:00am Monday, November 20, 2023 at Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home in Parker with burial at Rosehill Cemetery.  Arrangements by Hofmeister Jones Funeral Home.

David Lewis Buller was born on July 6, 1946 at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD to Lowell and Lillian (Heng) Buller.  He grew up on a farm near Parker where he attended Brothersfield County School #6 and graduated from Parker High School in 1964.  After attending South Dakota State University for a time he served in the US Army for 3 years during the Vietnam War, having been stationed in Thailand.  After his discharge from the service he moved back to South Dakota where he was employed at Terrace Park Dairy, worked as a welder at Feterl Manufacturing, farmed on the family farm with his brother Dale, installed and maintained signs for Ace Neon Sign Company and worked in the shop for Hofer Glass Company.  He enjoyed collecting antiques, signs and rock grinding.   He grew up in and was a member of the Brothersfield Evangelical United Brotherhood Church.

Grateful for having shared his life are 2 brothers, Bob (Inez) Buller, Sioux Falls and Dale Buller, Parker; 4 sisters, Mary (Les) Rensink, Freeman, Diane Grave, Harrisburg, Virginia Henriksen, Sioux Falls and Elaine Tieszen, Graettinger, IA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, Richard, Glen, Kenny and Keith and 2 sisters, Shirley and Carol.
