Joshua Darling

Joshua Darling, 42 of Sioux Falls, passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 as a result of a car accident. Services will be held at a later.

Joshua Miles Darling was born on October 13th 1978 in Armour, SD to Roger and Penny (Kuntz) Darling.

He graduated in 1997 from Aberdeen Central and attended the PowerLine program at Mitchell Tech, graduating in 2000. Josh later returned and became an instructor for the program. Josh worked in many states across the country as a lineman. He was very proud to be a lineman and loved his work. He prided himself in "getting the lights back on".

Josh married Erin Przymus in Wilno MN on October 13th, 2001. Josh later married Jamie Nichols in 2007. From that union, a step-son Caleb Sigety and biological son Miles Emery joined the Darling family. Josh and Erin started the 2nd chapter of their love story on October 5th 2019 when they remarried in Sioux Falls. Josh became a loving step-father to Ethan, Elijah, and Emerson.

Josh was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, trapping, archery, fishing, sporting clays, and riding his Harley Davidson. Josh had many accomplishments in life including being a member of the TTHO hunting club and was a state archery champion that went on to compete at a national level, but his greatest joy in life were his wife and children.

He is survived by his wife Erin, children Caleb, Miles, Ethan, Elijah, Emerson. Parents Roger and Penny Darling. Sister Tiffany (Ryan) Barr. Grandmother Delores Kuntz. Niece Noel Traylor. Nephews Preston and Spencer Barr and Corbin Traylor. Many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Josh was preceded in death by his sister Angel, nephew Talon, grandparents Emery and Nelly Darling and Roy Kuntz.
