Kolton Charles Temple was born November 27 th , 1996 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to proud parents Charles and Laurie Temple and joining his big brother, Brady. Kolton grew up on an acreage just south of Parker. He enjoyed spending time with his family by doing body work with his dad working on old cars in the shop, doing the dishes with his “ma”, and playing pool with his brother. On February 7 th , 2020, Kolton defeated his brother fair and square at Kelly’s bar.

Kolton was baptized as a Child of God and confirmed as a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Parker, South Dakota. He attended Sunday School and youth group growing up in the church and was a member of the Presbyterian Youth Council (PYC).

Growing up, Kolton was active in basketball, baseball, and FFA. He was honored by being the FFA President during his high school career. Kolton graduated from Parker High School in 2015. His passion for airplanes and guns continued throughout his life when he attended Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, South Dakota majoring in Aviation Mechanics. His most proud accomplishment was when he graduated in 2017 with his associate’s degree in Aviation Mechanics.

Kolton worked as an aviation mechanic for almost two years in Marshall, Minnesota. He longed for his family and friends in South Dakota, so he made the decision to move back home. He started working at Fleet Farm since the opening of the store as a gun specialist.

If Kolton wasn’t as work, you could always find him hanging out with his best buddies or playing with his “goofy” pup, Sara.

Kolton was preceded in death by his grandpa, Roy Temple; Grandma, Judy Schriever; and his uncle, Jeff (Buck) Berens.

Grateful for having shared in his life are his parents, Charles and Laurie Temple of Parker; brother, Brady Temple (Brittany) of Parker; his grandparents Verna Temple of Sioux Falls, and Gary Schriever (Patricia) of Sioux Falls, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous friends.

Kolton was loving and gave the biggest hugs! His kindness and generosity to others will continue on by his decision by being a donor so others may continue to live.
