Scott Jacobs

Memorial Services for Scott Jacobs will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.Scott Christopher Jacobs was born to Harold and Lavonne Jacobs. Scott served in the Coast Guard for 4 years, where he received his education in telecommunications. Scott was honorably discharged from the Coast Guard, then began his 30 year career in the Telecommunications field. Scott was a devoted husband and Father. He and his wife served as teachers to their children when they were home-schooled and he participated in all of their activities including Boy Scouts, Tae-kwon-do, and other outdoor sports. He loved to spend time outdoors camping, hiking, biking, and occasionally fishing. In 2009 he moved to South Dakota with his family to a small acreage of land. Scott loved living in the country and spent much of his free time working on projects and taking care of their  pets on the property.   He leaves behind his wife of 28 years, Lisa, and two sons, Scott II and Anthony. siblings Lynne (Skip), Bryan (Teri), Kevin (Gloria), Leigh-Anne, Mother-in-law Carol (late Ronny), sister-in-law Becky, brother-in-laws Jeff (Deanna) and Todd. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Lavonne, and younger brother Gregg.
