Sharon Kay Gulbranson was born on December 19, 1941 to L.D. and Margaret "Mickey" Gulbranson. Sharon was united in marriage to Terry Kelley on November 18, 1961 at Luverne, MN. Terry and Sharon were best friends for over 62 years and to this union was born two children, Terry and Micki.
Sharon loved sewing, knitting and quilting. She made countless dresses for the girls at the Children's Inn. She quilted puppy blankets and made pads for the kitty cages at the Humane Society. She was an avid reader and looked forward to the nights she spent with her friends at her book club. She also had great fun with her friends at their Christmas cookie parties. Sharon loved to play bridge and was very thankful to June Scott who taught her how to play and was her playing partner.
One of the most important things in Sharon's life were her labs. She loved them with all her heart and the most enjoyable part of her day was when she would take them swimming. She loved watching them swim or just run and play. Sharon would have liked everyone to be the person your dog thinks you are.
Sharon had two very special friends, Gayle Halverson and Sandy Keeley. She loved them dearly. They made her life complete.
Grateful for having shared her life are her husband Terry and her daughter Micki; 2 brothers, Ronald (Pat) Gulbranson and Robert Gulbranson; 4 sisters, Carol (Joe) Deditz, Julie (Lee) Noteman, Susan (Roger) Anderson and Margaret (Scott) Matheson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son Terry Dirk Kelley, parents L.D. and Margaret "Mickey" Gulbranson, parents-in-law, Lyle and Vella Kelley, brother Larry Gulbranson, sister-in-law Karen Gulbranson, sister Gail Gulbranson, nephews J.R. McConnell and Paul Gulbranson, great nephew Jyson Ebert and cousin Blake Rodgers.
