Warren Lindbloom, 95, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021 under hospice care at Dow Rummel Village in Sioux Falls, SD. Committal services will be 2:00pm MST Monday, November 22, 2021 with full military rites at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO. Warren Gale Lindbloom was born on March 24, 1926 in Sioux Falls, SD to Anton and Marie (Wilkinson) Lindbloom. After growing up in the Wood, SD area with siblings Edward - deceased, Lois (Allen) - deceased, and Phyllis (Moore), he attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. During WWII, he enlisted in the US Army Air Corps and was stationed at several air bases around the continental US. After his discharge from the service, he was united in marriage to Vivian Martindale on August 27, 1954. He completed his education at the University of Colorado with an accounting degree and went on to raise a family and practice public accounting as a CPA at his accounting firm in the Denver, CO area. His wife Vivian died on January 13, 2002. Following Vivian's death he went on to marry Dorothy Rasmussen Grinager on July 5, 2003. They spent time in Denver, Tampa Bay, and Sioux Falls. Dorothy died in 2018. Grateful for having shared his life are 2 children, Paul and wife Kim Lindbloom and Lori and husband Anthony Peck, all of Colorado; 5 grandchildren, Sean Peck, Alexander Peck, Annie Peck, Tyler Lindbloom and Kyle Lindbloom; 5 step children, Howard and wife Karen Grinager, Christine and husband Dale Howard, John and wife Nancy Grinager, Eric and wife Ruth Grinager, and Donn and wife Kristine Grinager; 13 step grandchildren and 16 step great grandchildren.
