Terry Ray Nicholson

Terry Nicholson, 63, died Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm Friday, October 23, 2009 at the Heritage Funeral Home, Sioux Falls with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sioux Falls. Visitation will begin at noon Thursday with family present from 6-8:00pm Thursday evening at Heritage Funeral Home. Terry Ray Nicholson was born on November 19, 1945 at Sioux Falls to Carl and Vera (Daniels) Nicholson. He graduated from Parker High School in 1963. Over the years he worked for various oil companies and was a truck driver for several companies. In 1998 he retired because of health reasons. He was a member of the Humboldt American Legion. Grateful for having shared his life are his 4 daughters, LeaAnn Nicholson, Sioux Falls, Julie Olson, Tea, Brenda Brokenleg, Tea, and Alicia Nicholson, Crooks; 4 grandchildren, Allison, Victoria, Ethan, and Miles; and a brother Larry (Lorraine) Nicholson, Jasper, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Janet, a grandson Tanner, and his first wife, MaryLou.
